60% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot

The grapes from this vintage came from the same Dry Creek Vineyards we have used since 1999. The wine was aged in a combination of new and used French and American oak. Bottling was in May of 2003.

70% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Zinfandel

The Sangiovese grapes (Polesky Vineyard) were picked just after dawn, taken to Mazzocco Winery in the Dry Creek Valley four miles from the vineyard. The Cabernet Sauvignon came from a vineyard in Alexander Valley, and the Zinfandel was grown in the Dry Creek Valley, very near to the Sangiovese vineyard. The wine was aged in 60% new French oak, 20% new American oak and 20% used French oak. Bottling was in January of 2001.

100% Pinot Noir grapes

The grapes came from the northern Willamette Valley near McMinnville. They were picked early in the morning on October 3rd, loaded directly into our truck, into which we had packed dry ice for the trip back to California. The grapes arrived at the winery just before midnight that same day. Kay made the wine at Rochioli Winery, where the barrels were stored until the wine was bottled. It was aged in French oak - 50% new and 50% used. It was bottled in March of 2000.
